I’ve written and posted 24 blog posts in 24 days. This is day 25 and here are two things I’ve realized throughout this month:
- This isn’t a big deal. When you think about writing and publishing something new each day, you can come up with thousands of reasons why you won’t do it. Yet when you’re actually writing and publishing each day, you no longer have time to come up with these reasons. You realize that everyone else is focused on their own work. You put an idea out there, and the world goes on. All of the noise in your head about what was going to happen when you publish–most of it just won’t happen. All of the excuses in your head told you otherwise, but really: it just isn’t that big of a deal to write and publish something each day. It might seem odd, but this really awesome to find out. Now you can go create whatever you want.
- This is a huge deal. I’ve written and published something 24 (and now 25) days in a row. I realized that while it can be incredibly difficult to stick to one habit every single day, when you actually do it, you realize that you can accomplish so much more than you thought.
